JELLI

JELLI is the first ever animated ERC20-i token. It started as a labor of love by a group of Base developers, and it became accepted by the wider ERC20-i community almost instantly on launch - integration into marketplaces and showcase websites was done within 24 hours of genesis.

The token uses the ERC20-i standard to depict animated, moving jellyfish in various stages of life: from smaller polyps to full medusas, all evolvable and interchangeable on-chain as both coins and dynamic inscriptions.

Other than being animated, the JELLI-es are evolvable: the amount of tokens held reflects on the life stage of the jellyfish and ranges from level 0 to level 5, incentivizing users to combine their tokens for the largest attainable inscription. The inscriptions themselves are dynamic: they can be made static by transferring them to fresh wallets, or they can be "re-rolled" for a different looking but same level inscription if the users wish to do so.

This encourages speculation on the physical attributes of the inscriptions themselves, and the readily available ERC20-i inscription marketplace allows this speculation to be manifested through trading. The marketplace also serves as essentially an OTC counter, where users can buy or sell without needing to draw from DEX liquidity.
