Takashi Tashiro, the new CEO of Remixpoint, will receive his entire compensation in Bitcoin starting immediately.
BTC News: Takashi Tashiro, the new CEO of Remixpoint, will receive his entire compensation in Bitcoin starting immediately.
The Tokyo energy firm will calculate his yen salary and taxes, then purchase equivalent Bitcoin amounts to transfer to his designated wallet.
This move represents "shareholder-oriented management" as Remixpoint positions Bitcoin at the core of its financial strategy.
Tashiro took over as CEO in June with plans to shift the company toward treasury management focused on digital assets.
The company already holds over 1,051 BTC, 901 ETH, 13,920 SOL, 1.19M XRP, and 2.8M DOGE, worth more than $116 million combined.
Tashiro also serves on the management team of Japan-based crypto exchange BITPoint.
Following similar moves by other executives, this aligns leadership compensation directly with crypto performance.
The decision reflects growing corporate adoption of digital assets as primary treasury holdings.
